whats the best atv racing quad for me to get?

I'm looking into buying my first atv racing quad. I've never raced before, but I've ridden four-wheelers my whole life and am a very reliable driver. I'm 16, bout 5' 10" and 170 pounds, so I'm thinking about a 300cc 2 stroke? What do you recommend? What brand? What size? Any specific models? Any other details I should consider?

1. With those numbers, you should be able to handle any 450 4 stroke. The 300's are small and you are probably not done growing. I'd look at a Honda TRX450 or a Yamaha YFZ450. Those are just two brands. Kawasaki, Suzuki, and Can-Am also make 450's. Suzuki's is more set up for motocross, while Yamaha makes one that is pretty much trail ready. Either way, there are plenty of aftermarket companies out there that sell parts that allow you to set it up how you want it.
